Subsidized courses of Yoga For Emotional and Mental Wellbeing are trauma Informed weekly classes providing supportive tools for stress, anxiety, emotional and mental health which you can use at any moment or situation in your life.
Spaces are still available on the upcoming course starting again Tuesday 28th of March 2023.
In this course we will explore and practice tools and techniques from a variety of yogic disciplines (Vinyasa, Restorative, Yin Yoga, Kashmir Shaivism, Trauma Informed Yoga) to increase body awareness, our listening skills, capacity to self-regulate, relax and self-compassion.
Every Tuesday 4pm to 5pm for 10 weeks at Community Service Hall in Takaka

Yin Yoga 10 weeks course, starts 28th of March 6.30pm till 7.30pm

Yin yoga stretches and targets both the deep connective tissues between the muscles, and the fascia throughout the body. The aim is to increase circulation in the joints and improve flexibility. Yin Yoga 10 Weeks Series
Yoga For Men 10 Weeks Course
These classes are specifically designed for men. Here we pay extra attention to the areas of shoulders, lower back and hips. Each class finishes with deep relaxation.
Start (or continue!) your yoga journey in this friendly and relaxed environment, in a small group at beginner level. $125 for the 10 weeks. Given availability, you are welcome to come and give the first class a try ($15) before deciding on signing up to the whole block.
Practicing yoga has numerous benefits for your health and wellbeing. It Prevents injuries and release pain in the body allowing for increase performance.
It also calms your mind to destress, increase presence and concentration, soothe your nervous system, open up your body and release tension.
Learn to utilize the breath and move through yoga poses in a mindful manner, increase endurance and strength and build awareness.
