Class Description
A time to relax and unwind to let the mind and body recover. These classes are open to everyone, whether you are a beginner or experienced practitioner. Balance the busy life with a practice of deep relaxation and restoration. Yin yoga is a meditative practice that also involves stretching and targeting both the deep connective tissues between the muscles, and the fascia throughout the body. The aim is to release tension and practice letting go, both in the body and mind. Yin Yoga also helps us to regulate the body's flow of energy, soothing the nervous system and calming the mind. Each week we will be enjoying yin postures addressing specific Chinese Meridian channels and exploring their physical, emotional and mental expression. There will be an option of using aromatherapy essential oils for stimulating specific acupressure points.
