The Answers You Need

I do not have a yoga mat

BAY YOGA has yoga mats available for your use at no extra charge. The mats we use are the most earth friendly yoga mats on the planet made from 100% natural rubber and jute, with no glues or synthetic additives. 

I cannot touch my toes

You do not need to be able to touch your toes. We promise! Yoga increases flexibility and with regular practice you may find you are able to touch your toes but it is NOT a pre-requisite or even a main goal. 

BAY YOGA teachers will show you how to work safely and use variations or props so that yoga is possible for your body and your current flexibility. 

Do I need to book?

There is no need to book, just show up 5 minutes before class time to get settled and meet the teacher.

I'm injured, can I still practice?

Yes. Please arrive to class at least 5 minutes before it starts to discuss your injuries with the teacher. Depending upon your type of injury there may be some yoga postures that are inappropriate for you but many practitioners find that yoga can aid in recovery from injury.
